One of the most visited, most famous, and most gorgeous parks in the United States, Yosemite National Park is a must-see for anyone who loves the outdoors. Jaw-dropping granite cliffs, towering waterfalls, Giant Sequoia groves and alpine meadows are just some of the wonders awaiting anyone who wants to make the trip.

Whether you’re looking to scale the world-famous Half Dome or visit the Ahwahnee Hotel or you’re looking to find some solitude on the trails (or maybe some company on the High Sierra, John Muir, or Pacific Crest Trails), it’s all right here in Yosemite.

I have had the pleasure of hiking each of these trails. Each is exceptional in their own way; some harder some easier. I would add the Four Mile Trail to Glacier Point and the Snow Creek Trail.

If you are looking for a super easy backpacking getaway. The hike to May Lake is just over a mile. Then you can day hike from the lake to Mt. Hoffman.

I just did Clouds Rest yesterday. It was no joke !! I had to take a couple of ibuprofen but made it to the top and back in one piece. Got caught in thunders , hail, sleet and rain. Was a fun adventure.

We hiked the Panorama Loop a few weeks ago. Only we started at Glacier Point and hiked down to Mist Trail and out to Happy Isle to the shuttle. It was awesome but not easy. I will never forget those views.
