Just east of the snow-packed Sierra Nevada lies the hottest, lowest, driest, and largest National Park in the lower 48. Cool weather visitors are treated to an otherworldly landscape of sand dunes, badlands, and hidden oases riddled with landmarks of shocking human perseverance, while overnight visitors are rewarded with some of the clearest night skies on the planet.
