Pinnacles National Park is a small, recently-upgraded Monument. The hiking trails here take visitors through this 26,000 acre hidden gem full of caves, lakes, California Condors, and strange rocky formations. This park features fantastic day hiking trails, campgrounds, and a fascinating geologic history – along with gorgeous wildflower displays in the spring and early summer — a perfect road trip from San Francisco or Los Angeles!
Just be sure to note which side of the park you’re aiming for — there are separate east and west entrances and you can’t drive through the park to connect them.
