We are very excited to announce Modern Hiker’s Founder Casey Schreiner will be a featured guest on the season four premiere of KCET’s Emmy award-winning series “Lost L.A.”
Lost L.A. tells the stories of Los Angeles and California that often remain unknown — even by lifelong Angelenos. Topics have ranged from the construction of Dodger Stadium to the history of red-lining real estate tracts and Yosemite National Park. The first episode of season four will focus on L.A.’s largest park — Griffith Park.
“Lost L.A.” is hosted and executive produced by Nathan Masters, who has also written extensively about the history of Los Angeles and Southern California including the long running L.A. As Subject project.
Modern Hiker’s Founder Casey Schreiner has finished work on his next book, Discovering Griffith Park. The book is a first-of-its-kind in-depth guidebook for the park, featuring information on Griffith Park’s museums, attractions, transportation systems, and history as well as 33 detailed hiking routes for all abilities. The book is currently available for pre-order on Amazon.
The Griffith Park episode of “Lost L.A.” will premiere at 8:30 PM (Pacific) on October 15th on KCET in Southern California as well as streaming online at kcet.org/lostla
