If the recession’s got you down, or you’re in a state of professional ennui, or if you’re just looking to spend some quality time outside and maybe even get paid for it, you might want to hit up the US Forest Service Job Fair this Saturday.
At the LA River Ranger District Office in San Fernando from 10AM to 4PM, employees and outreach specialists will be on hand to help people interested in full-time and seasonal jobs, as well as student internships for the Angeles National Forest and beyond.
The Ranger Station is located at 12371 Little Tujunga Canyon Road, San Fernando, CA 91342. You can also call their office at 818-899-1900.
Check out the Forest Service web site for more details, as well as for some volunteers opportunities.
