From now through mid-December, the folks at GORE-TEX are sponsoring a geography-knowledge contest, and the winner could get decked out in a $1500 Pro Shell gear pack from Arc’teryx.
At the Where In The World contest site, a super close-up image will be revealed with a clue. Each player is allowed one guess per day, and if no one gets it right the image will zoom out and more clues will be given. Earlier correct guesses get you more points, and whoever has the most by December 17th will get decked out in fancy new snow gear.
The contest is free to enter, and all you have to do is sign up for GORE’s Community site. Not a bad deal now that we’re getting snow in the higher peaks!
