If you can take off a day of work tomorrow or Wednesday, you should use that time to go hiking instead.
SoCal hikers know the first one or two days after it rains are one of the absolute best times to go hiking in Southern California – the smog is wiped clean, the rain brings tons of scents out of the chaparral, high peaks get frosted with snow, and the views go on for days.
The next two days are supposed to be cool and partly cloudy – but just be careful if you’re heading up to the Mount Baldy area, where 1-3 inches of snow should accumulate tonight. If you can’t sneak away from weekday responsibilities, prepare a quick trip following this weekend’s predicted storms!
