Adventure 16 just announced the second part of their free, informational series on climbing Mount Whitney.

Kurt Wedberg of Sierra Mountaineering International will offer tips for gear and trip planning, as well as show some visuals of the various approaches and offer tips on how to climb the mountain even if you didn’t make it in this year’s permit lottery.

The lectures are free:

Tarzana Store: Friday, March 27, 7pm
Oceanside Store: Monday, March 30, 7pm
Solana Beach Store: Tuesday, March 31, 7pm

Plus, if you want to make your mountaineering class even fancier, hit up the San Diego or West LA stores at 6PM and try some wines from New Zealand before the presentation starts. Those stores will also offer 30% off Icebreaker gear for the evening.
