Happy Friday everyone!
Sorry for the late post – this is coming to you live from the Portland Airport, where I’m catching up on some work after spending the last few days with the Columbia Sportswear Omniten following the premiere of our Jordan documentary (more on that soon!).
This week’s Photo Friday is one big hug to the fantastic photographers of Instagram, who have been tagging their awesome outdoor shots with #modernhiker and giving me TONS of great images to go through every week.
First up is jennyjen_westcoast‘s photo from L.A.’s very own (and beloved) Wisdom Tree – for my money, one of the best quick, urban hikes in the city.
Next is baadumching‘s beautiful view from Convict Lake in the Sierras. Even though she took the photo from a boat and not on the trail, I think we can let this one slide.
The Adventurous Dad of 5 took a long trek up to Cucamonga Peak and also took a well-deserved rest at the summit.
And finally, frequent contributor mattreed83 is spending some time in Rocky Mountain National Park right now – and also taking the time to share his epic sunsets with us.
