I’ve been meaning to add a healthy list of Orange County hikes to the ol’ Modern Hiker hikelog for a while now, but realistically it’s still going to be a while before I can justify braving the traffic of the 5 for some dayhikes.
Until that day, however, Orange County and southern L.A. County residents would do well to check out Brian and Ashley’s Hiking Blog.
While they don’t yet have GPX tracks for the trails they’ve done, they’ve got everything else an Orange County Hiker could ask for – including detailed trail write-ups, great pictures and videos, and a Modern Hiker-style Google Map of all the hikes they’ve covered for their site so far:
Anyone interested in hiking Orange County owes it to themselves to check out this blog. They’re enthusiastic hikers who obviously want to share their love with Southern Californians at large.
