Interns: the indentured service backbone of many a modern industry. In most places, you’d end up making copies, fetching coffee and getting yelled at in the hopes that someday someone will pity you enough to offer you an entry level job – but that might not apply to the North Face Outdoor Exploration Intern.

Backpacker has the details on the temporary position, which lasts from late April to late May in Alameda. Details are a bit vague, but it sounds like you’d help develop and coordinate a big event featuring outdoor athletes to “inspire a global movement of Outdoor Exploration.” Sounds a heck of a lot better than organizing Excel spreadsheets, right?
