Always in the process of adding and tweaking, I’ve added two new bits to Modern Hiker.
First, a dedicated minisite where you can order prints of various photographs I’ve taken while on the trail, courtesy of RedBubble. I will be posting a steady stream of what I think are my best snapshots, which you can order in a variety of sizes, finishes, and even frames if you want. Each purchase sends a couple of bucks my way, and can get you some new stuff for your walls … so it’s win-win.
The second bit of fanciness is a brand-new Modern Hiker Twitter feed, which you can get to by clicking on the link on the top-right column. I was a relative latecomer to Twitter, but over the past few months I’ve found it’s a great way to get information and feedback, start conversations, be alerted to web site updates and news, and waste time in boring meetings. I’ll mainly be tweeting new blog post alerts, quick news items that may not warrant a full post, and doing my best to answer questions and keep everyone up to date. So do me a favor and follow — and if you know of any other good outdoorsy tweeters, let me know!
