IMG_0993 If you’re looking for another great spot for springtime wildflowers, the Carizzo Plain National Monument is a good place to head.

I went there last year as part of a wildflower tag team with Pinnacles National Monument, and while I found the Plain to be desolately beautiful, there wasn’t that much of a flower show when I was there. However, Calipidder made a trek to the Monument recently, and had a much better show.
