Last week, the new edition of Lonely Planet’s guide for Los Angeles, San Diego and Southern California hit store shelves … with a little something new – a recommendation for Modern Hiker!
Indeed, this humble SoCal hiking blog is now listed as an official recommended resource for SoCal travelers. This is a great honor for me as I personally tend to use Lonely Planet guides whenever I’m checking someplace new out (they’ve got especially good food recommendations), and I’m thrilled to have made the cut for publication.
I tried to find it at a Barnes and Noble recently, but they seemed to be out of it, but you should be able to find it at bookstores, Amazon, or directly through Lonely Planet.
And if you do see it in a store, flip open to page 47 and take a snapshot for me, will ya?
