I will be bringing my HUGE slideshow on Griffith Park to a virtual meeting of Friends of Griffith Park on the evening of Thursday, October 8th.
If you didn’t get to see me present this slideshow for the Los Angeles Public Library, you’re in for a treat. It’s over 150 slides and will take you through the complex history of the land, lots of stuff you might not know the park offers, some of my favorite hikes, and lots of other reasons why I think Griffith Park is the best dang city park in the entire United States.
The event is free and you can RSVP to join the Zoom on the Friends of Griffith Park website. There will be a Q&A afterward — and I really do love hearing all your questions and stories about the park.
The presentation will be available online for a limited time if you can’t make the live show, but I’d love to see you there, even if it’s just virtually!
