On Saturday, April 2nd, L.A. City Councilman and fellow hiking enthusiast Tom LaBonge will be leading one of two short hikes in Griffith Park to help fundraise for the Society of Vincent St. Paul’s Cardinal Manning Homeless Shelter in Skid Row.
Participants have to pay a $25 registration fee ($15 for students) and can hike the Fern Canyon or Old Zoo Trails with groups. Participants will get a t-shirt and refreshments, including a light breakfast. Visit the Hike for the Homeless web site or call (213) 229-9963 for more info.
UPDATE – the hike is on April 2nd, not the 7th. Sorry for the typo confusion.
