With the temperatures cooling down a bit – by L.A. standards – it’s beginning to feel a little bit like fall around here, wouldn’t you say?

Maybe in a few more weeks, when the air really starts to get more cool and crisp, you’ll want something to really bring in those Fall Feelings – and might I suggest an authentic apple pie from one of my local New England orchards?

Lyman Orchards in Middlefield, Connecticut is offering their award-winning Hi-Top Apple Pies (named the state’s best by Connecticut Magazine since ’98!) for just $19.95 a piece … plus shipping, of course. And yes, that overnight shipping is going to run you about 40 bucks … so you might as well throw in a gallon of apple cider while you’re at it – because as any true cider fan will tell you, the stuff they call cider in California is nothing but bitter apple juice. This stuff will make you feel like this:

Or you could head on up to Oak Glen near Yucaipa, pick your own apples, buy a home made pie, and buy fresh cider--right in our own backyard!

Nothing like Lyman's cider, and that's coming from a Southern California native......
