Tomorrow, Saturday June 11th, the Angeles National Forest is hosting what they’re calling a “Get Outdoors Day Supersweep” cleanup to help remove graffiti and trash in the San Gabriel Canyon, and volunteers are invited.
The event will run from 8AM to 5PM and will start at the San Gabriel OHV area on San Gabriel Canyon Road, about 10 miles north of Sierra Madre Ave in Glendora. The cleanup will move north to Crystal Lake and will also cover the East Fork Road to Heaton Flats Trailhead. If you’re interested in volunteering, just show up and bring plenty of water and snacks, protective clothing, and some spare trash bags.
