Columbia Sportswear just posted the first of many videos from the OmniGames competition I participated in back in January. It’s a fun little three minute piece that shows off some of the best people I have ever had the pleasure of meeting – and yours truly cutting some FLAWLESS pizza wedges after Heidi Henry sets me up perfectly with the line “Some of us don’t live in wintry terrain.”
It brought back a lot of very pleasant memories for me and I can’t wait to see how the next videos come out.
As luck would have it, I got this video right as I was making my own video.
On Saturday morning, I’ll be getting on a plane with a duffel bag and heading to Jordan as part of the Spring 2014 Omniten – and I wanted to thank a lot of people, including you, the readers who have kept the site going and getting better over the past seven and a half years.
I’ll be back in L.A. later this month with a ton of stories to tell – but until then, be sure to follow me on Twitter and Instagram just in case I can get to a place with some WiFi halfway around the world. And don’t forget to RSVP for the One Day in L.A. Hike on April 26th!
OK … now, to finish off the work week, get some more writing done … oh, and PACK.
