Fee Free Weekend in the National Parks

Hatching a last-minute adventure plan for the weekend? You might want to consider heading out to celebrate the kickoff of National Park Week, a joint venture between the National Park Service & the National Park Foundation that runs from April 18-26. Not only are the parks offering an assortment of awesome activities and volunteer opportunities, but they’re also waiving entrance fees this Saturday & Sunday – check out the NPF website for more information.

If you need a bit of outdoor inspiration, cruise around some of our favorite National Park hikes below:

Also, make sure you mark your calendars for these other upcoming fee-free days in the National Parks:

    • Tuesday, August 25th – National Park Service’s 98th Birthday
    • Saturday, September 26th – National Public Lands Day
    • Wednesday, November 11th – Veterans Day

Happy trails!
