So the next time you’re hiking in Griffith Park and you think to yourself, “hey, this is an easy hike. I don’t really have to pay attention to my surroundings. I mean, there’s no possible way I could find myself grasping onto a tree while hanging over a cliff, unable to signal nearby firefighters,” I’d suggest you think again.

Know where you’re going and watch what you’re doing. Don’t end up on Hiker Hell.
