If you wanted to celebrate Earth Day with the mayor in one of the country’s largest urban parks, join Councilman Tom LaBonge and Mayor Eric Garcetti in Griffith Park at 11AM on April 22.
Mayor Garcetti will celebrate the 50th Anniversary of the Wilderness Act – one of the most important pieces of outdoor legislation in the world – before Councilman LaBonge leads a short hike to Mount Hollywood.
The event is free but RSVP at 213-387-4287 and try to get there early to avoid parking problems.
Head to the Sierra Club’s web site for more Earth Day events!
