The California State Parks Foundation — which just sent me a bunch of mail today — is celebrating its 40th anniversary by posting 40 short podcasts of Californians talking about their favorite hiking trails and experiences in California’s state parks.
First up is Sammy Hagar’s run-in with a rattlesnake at Northern California’s Mount Tamalpais State Park … and if you want a chance to someday say, “this one time me and Sammy Hagar both did …” you can add your own state park experience to the growing collection. The Foundation will be choosing several people from the web site to record podcasts of their own, and posting them over the rest of the year, so look over your hiking pics and try to come up with something compelling!
