It’s no fun to set your alarm on Saturday morning (unless you’re going out for a hike, that is), but this Saturday you’ve got another good excuse – the Adventure 16 Parking Lot Sale.

Part sidewalk sale, part carnival – the Parking Lot Sale will be held at the West L.A. store this Saturday, August 25th from 9AM to 1PM. In addition to offering gear at up to 75% off, the store will also have a vintage gear exhibit and free climbing wall, then packing the morning with contests and giveaways. Oh, and if that’s not enough — free hot dogs.

The contests seem pretty fun, too – there’s a race to see who can set up a tent the fastest with the winner taking home a free Mountain Hardwear tent! There are also “guess the pack weight” and “guess the bear vault weight” contests and chances to win free boots, socks, and other stuff we trail-going types tend to spend a lot of money on.
