The Trust for Public Land does a lot of good work – both in preserving wilderness trails and helping turn private land into public land and in helping dense urban neighborhoods build parks and provide much-needed green space. Here in L.A., they’ve helped protect Cahuenga Peak from developers, saved the “Cornfield” at Los Angeles State Historic Park, and are installing pocket parks in East Hollywood, Echo Park, and Little Armenia.
Now, the group wants to see how you enjoy your time outdoors – and you could win a brand spankin’ new GoPro camera for doing it. All you have to do is take a photo of a place in the outdoors you like to enjoy and post it to Twitter or Instagram with the hashtag #NeverStillLife or submit it via their Facebook contest entry page.
Get your friends to vote for your submission on their Facebook page and they’ll select four winners from the top entries to receive a GoPro camera.
To get you inspired, they’ve included a video of blind kayaker Erik Weihenmayer navigating the rapids in the Colorado River.
