The Angeles National Forest is celebrating Earth Day this Saturday, April 21st with a volunteer event to give the San Gabriel River a little spruce-up and you’re invited to help.
The event will start at 8:30AM and run until 12:30 in the afternoon. If you want to help out, meet at the San Gabriel Canyon Gateway Center at 8:30, where you’ll caravan to the cleanup sites near the Rincon Fire Station. Trash bags will be provided, but you should bring your own drinking water, snacks, sunscreen, and sturdy (probably waterproof) shoes.
