On Saturday, July 3rd, a small but hearty group of hikers joined me at ChantryManker Flats to hike to the summit of Mount Baldy – the highest point in Los Angeles County.

As you know from my frequent announcements, we did this trail to raise money for the American Foundation for Children with AIDS as part of their Climb Up The 50 hiking and climbing event, and we ended up raising over $3400!

I’m working on a longer write-up of the day’s events, but I just wanted to say thank you to everyone who joined me on the trail and to everyone who sponsored one of us along the way.
