Some of the first things experts will tell you to do if you run into a mountain lion is to make yourself look bigger and start making lots of noises. And it looks like it works, even for pets.

A mountain lion wandered into a garage in the town of Sage, in San Bernardino County, presumably to snack on one of the four chihuahuas that live there. But instead, it got surrounded and relentlessly barked at for 45 minutes by the little dogs, until Fish and Game wardens arrived to tranquilize the cat.
