The first rays of sunlight peek through the windows in your tent. You wake up to see the condensation forming on the liner and have to fight the urge to retreat back into your sleeping bag and force yourself to get the day going. The one thing standing between you and the not-terribly-fun task of breaking down camp is … breakfast.
Admittedly, I am not very well versed in the art of camp breakfast. Usually, I’ll just throw some water into a packet of granola and hit the trail … or, if I’m near civilization, sneak out for a diner-breakfast at a local greasy spoon. Luckily for hikers like me, Trailsauce has rounded up a great list of easy camp breakfasts, ranging from simple oatmeal to pancakes and something called “bacon and eggs in a bag.”
If you try that last one, let me know how it goes.
