In honor of the encroaching holiday season (how quickly after Thanksgiving did YOU start hearing Christmas music on the radio?) the folks over at Mountains Plus are starting a nearly month-long promotion called 22 Days of Gear-mas.

Every day from now until 2 days before Christmas, they’ll post a new deal on outdoor gear. That deal will last until the end of the promotion or they run out of stuff, whichever comes first. And if their first post is any indication – a 2010 model 3 person Big Agnes tent for nearly 50% off – the deals are gonna be good.

I’ll keep up on the deals here with a new banner ad on the sidebar, and I’ll try to highlight any deals I think look particularly good – and try my best not to also post my own personal wish list for the holidays.
